CK United fans worry over loss

Supporters of promoted Chikwawa United have asked the team’s management to improve its performance if the team is to survive in the Sper League.

The team has lost all games.

The supporters mostly from Dyeratu in Chikhwawa have since advised the team’s board to audit the coaching panel, has failed to bring out the best from team.

“We need results, we are tired of the teams losses, enough is for the management to think otherwise, for our current coaching board,” said Bright Phiri, on behalf of some of the Chikhwawa United Fans.

However, the teams acting coach Richard Fosiko played down the supporter’s worries instead heaped praises on his players, saying they are youthful, new in the Super League games.

“The supporters should know that we are developing this team. Our aim is to expose and develop young players, so, I urge our fans to be patient,” said the coach.

Chikwawa United were promoted into the Super League after excelling in the Peter Mutharika Southern Region Football League.

During the day that marked the team’s entry in the Super League, a crowd of supporters from Dyeratu was seen parading joyfully for almost 10 kilometres as a sign of celebration for the victory.
