He said the song was recorded by Philimon Sawasawa in Mangochi while Madeya recorded his contribution in Leicester City and the whole tune was mastered and mixed by renowned producer Pon G.

“I met Madeya through a WhatsApp group I created to share more about my work as a musician. He approached me to see if we can work together on Zam’moyowu concept and here we are. I want to keep releasing music to keep my fans and followers afloat,” said Kadango.

Zam’moyowu is a song exposing the demands of life, packed in smooth reggae tones.

Says Kadango: “It is in line with what is going on in the world. I feel obliged to remind people that as one created in the image of the Most High, we have the potential to do positive things.”

He added that he is working on another single which he will drop within two months.

According to the artist, who curtain-raised for Zembani Band on some tours after the release of his album in 2001, he has been performing with the Upper Shire Band in Zomba and Mangochi.

“I am working hard to increase my fan base. Through WhatsApp, I am able to reconnect with people from diverse background who used to enjoy my music,” he added.

Kadango’s  fan, Richard Mangani, said he is delighted with the musician’s return.

“I have always enjoyed his music and I was disappointed about his silence. Now that he is back, I expect good music,” he said.
