Donna’s Eggs women semi-finals on

Donnas Eggs Women Football Trophy for the Central Region enters the semifinal round this Sunday, the National Women Football Committee (NWFC) has announced.

Overwhelming favourites DD Sunshine host Chilinde at Silver Stadium while Super Queens challenge Skippers to determine the finalists.

NWFC chairperson Severia Chalira yesterday said the regional finals and third play-off will be played on June 7.

In the North, Moyale Sisters date CY Sisters in the final whereas Kuaito Stars meet Ekwendeni Sisters for a third place slot at Chibavi Ground.

Southern Region finals will involve Blantyre Zero and Mtopwa Sisters whereas the Zomba City Sisters and Atu Ladies have third-place issues to sort out at the Kamuzu Stadium.

At stake is K500 000 for the regional champion, K250 000 for the runner-up and K150 000 for the third place winner.
