If you are a crime story enthusiast then DStv channel 126 will become your new home from Tuesday when the digital satellite television provider introduces Fox Crime.

The channel is a mix of strong crime drama and factual programming. The channel will also boast a ‘classic crime’ block that will bring back old favourites such as Magnum PI, Chips and NYPD Blue.

According to MultiChoice Malawi marketing manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda, Fox Crime will in July feature a crime-thriller The Bridge which follows the mysterious death of an American judge known for her anti-immigration views.

“Case Files Africa

is another gripping African focused show, covering infamous crime stories from across the continent.

“Cases range from a ‘hit’ arranged for a six-month-old baby by a jealous girlfriend of the baby’s father, to a serial killer known as the ‘The station stranger’ who abused young unsuspecting males and a heart wrenching case about a 5 year inappropriate reign of terror posed on women by a man posing as a taxi driver,” said Nyirenda.
