“This is not the first time to help the choir. We have a good relationship and we have been supporting the group with resources in terms of finances and materials like studio recording, videos, music events and others.

“We love to support local talent and we do not expect anything in return, just wishing them all the best,” she said.

In her vote of thanks, Chinsapo Melodies director Rabecca Bwanali thanked Choice Construction for the gesture.

She said: “We have organised a very big event to which we have invited a guest artist from Tanzania and the donation will help a lot in meeting the costs.”

Bwanali further disclosed that the new album is their fifth.

“The new album will have 10 songs that carry messages of love, deliverance, salvation and motivation, as such, every individual will find solace in listening to the album,” she said.

Meanwhile, Tanzanian songbird, Rose Muhando is expected to spice up the event as a guest artist. Muhando’s music has been popular in Malawi for the last two decades.

During the launch, Chinsapo Melodies Choir will also share the stage with local artists such as Skeffa Chimoto, Great Angels Choir, Marvelous Deeds, Maxwell Oloto, Gloria Manong’a and Tulibako Mwakasenge
