Big Bullets right-winger Fischer Kondowe has dispelled rumours that he is leaving the team for Evirom FC.

During last Sunday’s TNM Super League match that saw Bullets losing 3-1 to Silver Strikers at Kamuzu Stadium, speculation was rife among fans that the 37-year-old was frustrated and tired of warming the bench and was considering jumping ship.

Kondowe, who featured as a substitute in Sunday’s match, said the rumour might have been sparked by his missing in Bullets’ games against Kamuzu Barracks, Blue Eagles, Mponela United and Silver Strikers due to injury.

But the former player for Absa Premiership side Black Leopards told The Nation on Thursday that he will remain a Bullets player for as long as he has the strength to play football.

“There is no need for me to leave my favourite team. It is Bullets that made me who I am today. I have heard such rumours, but what the fans should know is that I will die a Bullets player,” he said.
