From business college to eating house

Fish_restaurant_reviewJust after the closure of Matindi Business College, Chicken Republic Restaurant took over the place and turned it into a restaurant and bar.

Bearing in mind that there is no such thing as an eating holiday, the new restaurant operates on a daily basis providing different types of meals from 7:30am to 9:30pm.

The fresh eating den has already been known for its chambo dish which is served plain or with an entree of the diners choice.

On top of the chambo, the place also serves a variety of regular dishes which include chips, nkhwani, mpiru, nsima and rice just to mention a few. Their chicken and beef is prepared according to the customer taste. Snack lovers are given a reason to smile as samousa, chicken pies and assorted snacks are also served.

While eating their favourite dishes, customers enjoy the view of Ndirande Hill in the distance. The eatery is situated along the Chipembere Highway just after Chichiri Shopping Centre bus stage.

The location is another factor that brings people from all walks of life since it is central and is easily accessible.

Despite its operations only starting last August, business is growing fast. The place has captured the hearts of local food lovers because of some of the way meals are prepared.

As one way of empowering its customers, they are allowed to give their opinions and views on the different meals served.

Chicken Republic also gives a chance to bar lovers to taste local and international brews to relax and chill with friends and family.

“This place is convenient and its well experienced workers will make a difference in your lives. So come and have a taste of real Malawian food,” boasted manager Paul Banda.
