Kazako, others face BBC World Question today
British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will today host its World Question programme at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe to hear the views of Malawians on the current political and socio-economic situation.
BBC producer Helen Towner said in an interview yesterday World Question is a BBC World Service radio programme, which targets various capital cities around the world.
She said: “The programme will be driven by questions from the audience who will ask questions and we are going to choose the best six questions for the radio programme to be aired on November 12 2022.”

Towner further said Malawi will benefit from the programme as it gives the public a chance to put their questions to politicians and have their voices heard.
One of the panellists on the programme, youth rights activist Charles Kajoloweka described it as an important platform for interrogating the state of affairs in the country.
He said the programme offers an opportunity for stakeholders and the public to reflect on the state of governance in the country.
Besides Kazako and Kajoloweka, other panellists include human rights lawyer Chikondi Chijozi and Maria Mainja, a nurse.
BBC has been producing World Question programme for nine years and in Malawi the broadcaster last recorded it in 2019 in Blantyre.
