Keep it up! Akossa
I am a keen follower of your column. The insight that you bring is priceless. I have learnt a lot and I have been reminded of real facts of life. The message you wrote on 7th November was true and very motivating. Disappointments are part of life but we need to choose to rise up and throw away the hurt and pain. I have heard if you keep being bitter, that thing or person will continue having control over you so it is better to let go of the anger, pain, hurt and make the choice to be happy. Please keep it up. May God continue revealing such messages to you. You never know you have or will save a dying soul one day. Keep it up.

Martha,
Thank you so much for your e-mail; responses I get from readers like you are among the many things that keep me going on those days when I feel as if I should just give up! What you are saying about remaining bitter and angry with someone or something is very true. It’s as if you allow that thing to have a hold on you, to hold you captive and to block your happiness, which is not worth it, at the end of the day, especially when you realise how unpredictable life is. We might be around one day but on the brink of death the next. When I look at it that way, I think; do I really want to spend what could possibly be the last day of my life being angry and bitter, tossing and turning with worry? Or should I objectively
seek the solution to my problems while enjoying the gift of life and loving every minute? I always pick the latter over the former!
Thank you for being a reader and I hope you keep reading Every Woman. Please keep the feedback coming; let us know what you would like to see more of and what you think we should change.
Have a blessed week
