Hopeson Mkulu Ebenezer Khondiwa has published and launched his first book titled Living a Life of Understanding Seasons of Life.
The book encourages people to be aware that life has both good and challenging seasons.
The 97-pages book offers a biblical explanation of the seasons that people go through and how they can manoeuvre their walk.

The biblical examples of people who went through challenging seasons but maintained their faith in the Lord include Moses, Apostle Paul, Peter, John and Job.
In an interview, Khondiwa said he wrote the book to inform and encourage God’s children that the seasons they go through are not permanent.
“Inspiration came from the zeal to encourage people that whatever they go through biblically others went through the same and came out better not bitter. It is a learning process to encourage them spiritually and mentally,” he said.
Khondiwa has two other books, which CCAP Nkhoma Synod Men’s Guild uses its in various forums, despite not being formally published.
He acknowledged that while there continues to be a dying reading culture, he ensured that the book is sizeable and interesting.
“I wrote the book in a pulpit-style format, like a sermon, so that readers feel as though they are being preached to. I hope people will find it engaging,” said the author.
Guest of honour at the launch, Maggie Madimbo, said the book is timely as it speaks about the realities of life and emphasises on understanding the seasons that people go through every day.
She also urged Christians to take the book’s message not only for their own encouragement, but also to uplift others.
“Books have the power to preserve messages and this is an opportunity for Christians to use such publications to strengthen and grow their faith knowing that the written word will always remain with them,” Madimba said.
The book, which has nine chapters, has been published by Hope Publications Limited.
