Lilongwe to sample nudes of liberty

There are certain rare shows that you want to see again and again. “Nudes of Liberty”, is such an event. Two of the rarest artists condensed into a single, vast spectacle of creative geniuses.

Bruno Matumbi and Jay Joshi on today invade Lilongwe’s Crossroads Hotel with an art exhibition that promises shattering sight of seductive figures.

“Nudes of liberty is based on the idea that a women need to be liberalised and appreciated. The artists feel that the best way they can express themselves is through the body of a woman. It’s the best form of expressive arts,” said Freda Chigwe, organiser of the event.

Dubbed Nudes of liberty, the event will be staged this evening from 6pm till late with the two artists exhibiting over 30 pieces.
