LM & Company Attorneys gives IIM K900 000 for lakeshore conference
LM and Company Attorneys, a local law firm, has contributed K900 000 to the Insurance Institute of Malawi (IIM) for its annual lakeshore conference to be held from Thursday in Mangochi District.
LM and Company Attorneys junior associate Shalom Hanjahanja-Ngalande said the financial contribution shows their commitment to building a strong partnership with the insurance industry.
She said: “We exist to work with all players in the insurance industry from insurance brokers to insurance houses.
“Their business forms a greater portion of what we do; hence, the support.”
IIM events manager Thomas Kholowa said: “We want to make sure that we shape the industry through our service.
“Insurance is about service, so we need to guide all players on how we can save them better.”
This year’s conference will be held at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge under the theme ‘Transforming Malawi through insurance innovation, inclusion and growth towards Malawi 2063’.
