Mada Ngoleka cuts Xmas song
Soulful gospel singer Mada Ngoleka has collaborated with the 2014 Sunbird Search for a Star (SSS) winner MacLuther Mambala for a Christmas song Emmanuelreleased yesterday.
The track, produced by Dumisani Mfune, who is also a SSS judge, sees Mada playing the role of Mary and MacLuther plays Joseph.
The two youthful musicians craft lyrics that celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, taking the listener through the journey which the Messiah’s chosen parents went through to his birth.
It is a melody that reminds humanity the troubles Jesus’ mother Mary went through to secure a place for her to give birth, and Joseph being by her side reassuring her, to the moment Jesus was born to take away the sin of the world.
Mada is signed to Nde’feyo Gospel, a sub-label under Nde’feyo Entertainment and has been with the stable for over a year now.
She is currently working on her debut album, which, among others features Ndirande Anglican Voices.
Having won the 2014 SSS, MacLuther was offered a one-year recording deal by Nde’feyo, which will see the stable producing an album for the singer, including music videos.
