Malawi’s Natasha up for eviction

The chase has begun and indeed the name of the game sounds true. Malawian housemate Natasha Tonthola is one of the first five housemates that have been nominated in the first few days of BBA8.

Natasha was put as a replacement by Ruby head of house, Nigeria’s Beverly who elected to save Sierra Leone’s Bassey from the eviction gallows. She is unaware of the decision which could put her on a plane back home if Africa does not choose to save her through voting.

However, if eviction happens this early it will be the first time for housemates to be evicted in their first week in the BBA house.

On Monday evening it was evident that after 24 hours in the house some housemates can definitely rest easy, while others can look forward to a horrid week, which could inadvertently be their last, in the Big Brother house.

You could cut the tension with a knife as the housemates gathered in the lounges of both houses, waiting for Big Brother’s colossal nominations announcement. When Biggie finally put the Rubies out of their misery, Selly, couldn’t contain herself.

The Ghanaian hottie looked like someone had knocked the air out of her. She sat in stunned silence as her name was called out and then later burst into tears at the realization that she could be headed home. Luckily, Zimbabwe’s Hakeem, was on hand with encouragement and words of comfort. “It’s okay sweetie. Just stay focused. It’s only a game,” he said.

Bassey, on the other hand, did not let his emotions out of the bag and simply looked on as his name was called. Ruby Head of House, Beverly, then went to the Diary Room where she elected to save Bassey from eviction gallows and replaced him with Natasha.

Diamonds Head of House, Feza, did not budge from her earlier Nomination decision and swiftly saved Elikem from possible Eviction. She put Ethiopia’s Betty in his place instead.

This week, Denzel, Betty, Hudda, Selly and Natasha are up for possible eviction. But your vote could keep your favourite housemate in the game.
