A. I am incredibly excited! Malawi has always been on my radar and I cannot wait to finally connect with the amazing people and share some unforgettable moments. I have heard the energy and vibe at UMP Festival is unmatched!

Q. How much do you know about Malawian music and its entertainment culture?

A: Malawi is full of vibrant talent and unique sounds. I have been following artists like Tay Grin and Onesimus. There is a beautiful fusion of traditional and modern vibes. I admire how Malawians celebrate culture through music and dance.

Q. You are known for your impeccable fashion sense, what are you bringing on the UMP Festival?

A: Expect bold, elegant and fierce looks! I believe fashion is a statement and UMP Festival gives me the perfect runway to celebrate African glam with a modern twist. I am bringing heat, sparkle and of course, some surprises.

Q. Do you have anything in particular that you are looking forward to during your time in Malawi?

A. Definitely the people, the music and Lake Malawi! I have heard so much about the country’s natural beauty and hospitality. I also look forward to networking with creatives and discovering what makes Malawi’s entertainment scene so special.

Q. You had a stint in music, any plans of going back?

A. I quit music due to my multiple business ventures and family responsibilities, which required more of my time and attention. I felt that I had to prioritise these commitments over my music career. To answer your question, I don’t think I will go back to doing music because I don’t have the time. I have a lot on my hands, but I listen to a lot of music.
