Blantyre-based gospel singer Miracle Chinga has released her first album titled Mwapambana.

In an interview, Miracle, daughter to the late gospel great Grace Chinga, said the album is meant to give hope and encouragement to people facing various challenges in life, saying God gives victory and abundant success.

Miracle: I am reminding my audience that God is the miracle-working God

“In life, we all go through afflictions and problems. Despite that, we should learn to trust and have faith in God who is our strength and hope,” she said.

Miracle said she came up with the concept for Mwapambana after observing the hardships that people go through in life such as shame, poverty, pain and loss of loved ones.

“I was inspired to produce the album to cheer up those without hope,” said Miracle.

The gospel musician said people should have faith in God as they go through challenging situations in life.

She said: “I want to encourage every soul that we are loved by God and we should not fear evil because the Lord is with us to protect and guide us in all aspects of our lives.

“So, in every song I am trying to say we need to have faith and hope, and trust in Him. I am reminding my audience that God is the miracle-working God.”

The album, produced by DJ Lobodo at Lobodo Records, has life-changing messages that will give hope and comfort, according to Chinga.

She said she has composed all the songs in the album.

According to Chinga, the launch will be done when everything is set.

Commenting on the album music critic Wonderful Mkutche said Chinga’s single Hosanna set the pace for the compilation.

“We do not need to compare her with her late mother Grace, but it is hard not to. In terms of lyrics she is getting there, just like her mother was.

“But overall, Miracle Chinga needs good management,” he said.

She is currently selling the album through a mobile number 0887329164.
