Larsen was responsible for Mzava’s return to professional football after close to two years absence during which the player almost quit the game.

The tactician guided Magesi to the Carling Cup Knockout Cup triumph after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the final.

However, disagreements over the cup win bonuses forced the coach to quit and he has since been replaced by Owen Da Gama.

The new coach has since confirmed he would be offloading seven players as he focuses on surviving relegation in the top-flight Betway Premiership.

South African online publication FarPost.com on Wednesday reported that Mzava is one of the players who riskthe chop.
