Nanzikambe Arts Café will this weekend revive entertainment activities at its café in Naperi, Blantyre, three weeks after the annual Mwezi Wawala International Theater and Arts Festival.
The café has been idle since the end of the festival. According to the café’s project officer Misheck Mzumara, the theatre space returns to busy schedules with two events on Friday and Saturday.
Mzumara said the journey will begin with an acoustic music show featuring Snoden Ibu, Patrick Simakweli, Dikamawoko Arts, Ras Mix, John Suluma, Upile Cultural Troupe, Jimmy Will and Mike Lombola, among the headliners of the Friday show.
Saturday will feature performance from Lions Theatre which returns with a new play titled Joyce.
