Mighty Wanderers skipper and Flames defender Foster Namwela is scheduled to engage his longtime sweetheart Takondwa Jambo this Sunday at Living Waters Church Hall at Area 25 in Lilongwe.

Nomads general secretary David Kanyenda has since extended an invitation to the soccer fraternity.

“Our captain, who is also a national team regular player, will be engaging this Sunday and we are calling on the entire soccer fraternity to join us in supporting him,” said Kanyenda.

Namwela said he is excited at the prospect of getting engaged.

“We have gone out for sometime and we felt it was time we took a step further in our relationship.

“Takondwa has always been there for me and I am hopeful that she will play an important role in my career as a prospective lifetime partner,” said Namwela.

Namwela comes from Lirangwe in Blantyre whereas his prospective fiancee comes from Salima.
