The newly reborn Police Orchestra Band will this weekend come and revive the golden old days at a pungwe to be held at the mecca of pungwes, Motel Paradise.
According to Jai Banda of Entertainers Promotions, the show promises to be a ride down memory lane.
“We are trying to revive the songs of the Police Orchestra of those days, going down memory lane.
“The Blacks and Anthony Makondetsa will also be there to perform songs from their latest albums Kuimba 9 and Fuko Lokondedwa,” said Banda while singing tunes from the old Police Orchestra such as Mwana Wanga Ndiyekhayu, Mnyamata wa Sports among others.
He boasted that the performances will be backed by Entertainers new equipment.
