Nascent Solutions has donated teaching and learning materials to Senzani Primary School in Ntcheu to motivate learners and teachers to achieve quality education.
Speaking on Saturday during the handover, the organisation’s country director Robert Chizimba said they wanted to promote school attendance.
“We also run a school feeding programme and provide refresher courses for teachers,” he said.
On his part, the school’s head teacher Kennedy Kaipa said school attendance has improved since the introduction of the initiative last year.
“The learning materials motivate learners to attend classes,” he said.
In his remarks, Senzani Zone primary school adviser Kibro Duncan said the refresher courses have improved performance in schools.
“Teachers are now working like they are fresh from college. They have developed passion to teach after the coaching programme,” he said.
