Nsomba: Radio Maria needs your help

Radio Maria Malawi last Sunday made an impassioned call to the Catholic community and other well-wishers to make financial and material contributions to the station to help it sustain its electronic evangelism work.

The station’s Limbe studio clerk, Paul Nsomba, made the call when he presided over a fundraising promotion held at Naphiyo Catholic Church in Chiradzulu which is under Nguludi Parish.

Nsomba said the radio has been surviving on the goodwill of donors, well-wishers and listeners.

“Every month, we need not less than K5 million for administration and other operations. As a radio station that doesn’t run advertisements, it is not easy to raise this amount; hence, our reliance on people’s goodwill.

“I humbly appeal to you to support your radio with anything that can make a difference. God will reward you for contributing to his ministry and mission of salvation for all people,” said Nsomba.

He said the promotion raised K257 900. n
