Former Mighty Mukuru Wanderers head coach Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan has joined Tanzanian top side Singida Fountain Gate FC as assistant coach and video analyst.

The development comes three weeks after the Burundian resigned as Wanderers gaffer following the team’s two successive losses in the TNM Super League. In eight games, he was in charge the Nomads won three,

lost two and drawn three. Singida FC have since welcomed Ramadhan, who once guided the Tanzanian outfit as head coach.

Ramadhan: I am very happy

“I am happy to have secured a new job in Tanzania,” Ramadhan said.

According to The Guardian, Singida FC have changed the entire technical panel to develop a competitive squad ahead of the next season.

In the 2023/24 season, they finished 11th in 16- team Tanzania Premier League with 33 points, 47 behind the eventual champions Youn g Africans.

The publication states: “[In the just concluded season], Sangida was under the tutelage of several coaches on both permanent and interim basis, and, by the end of the season, the number totalled seven.

“In the first phase of season, [they] parted ways with three coaches, namely Netherlands national Hans van der Pluijm, German coach Ernst Middendorp and Brazilian coach Ricardo Ferreira.”

The club has planned a pre-season in either Ethiopia or South Africa, where they will play various local teams
