“Reunion Insurance believes that the 2022 Insurance Institute of Malawi lakeshore conference will provide an opportunity for sharing knowledge on emerging themes in global insurance industry, including evidence-based experiences and networking,” he said.

Joshua said corporate social responsibility is one of Reunion Insurance’s strategic pillars, as such, they will continue to support and work with various stakeholders.

In his remarks, IIM vice-president Reuben Kawelele Kamanga thanked Reunion Insurance Company for the sponsorship which will help in the preparation of the conference.

“I want to urge other organisations to emulate what Reunion Insurance Company has done,” he said, calling on other insurance companies to partner IIM and display their products and services during the conference.

The conference is slated for October 20 to 22 at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi under the theme ‘A glance at insurance in Malawi for the next decade’.
