SADC diplomats Headline NPM Year-End Gala
The upcoming National Product Magazine (NPM) Year-End Awards have attracted strong regional attention, with several SADC diplomatic representatives and senior government officials set to attend.

The ceremony is scheduled for December 20, 2025, at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe. The High Commissioners of Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Tanzania are among the confirmed guests, while Minister of Trade George Partridge will headline the event.
The gala follows the close of public voting for the 2025 nominees.

NPM Executive Director Arthur Chinyamula said the presence of top diplomats underscores the awards’ growing role in promoting regional trade and cross-border business collaboration.

The 2025 edition will feature over 40 award categories spanning manufacturing, technology, food processing, agriculture, real estate, tourism, transport, and banking. Key honours include Exporter of the Year, Business Reporter of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, and the Service Excellence Award. NBS Bank stands out with nominations in three banking categories.
The programme will open with an industry exhibition and product showcase, followed by a red-carpet session and the main awards ceremony.

Chinyamula also announced a Best Dressed Guests segment, where four attendees will be recognised. This year’s event will additionally mark National Product Magazine’s 120th edition.
Entertainment will feature performances by Lulu and cultural dance ensembles, promising what organisers describe as “an epic night — a night to remember.”
“All preparations are complete, and we are honoured that Trade Minister George Partridge will grace this year’s gala,” Chinyamula said. He urged participating companies to finalise their presentations and exhibition pavilions ahead of the showcase.
