Saintfiet calls for ceasefire

Flames caretaker coach Tom Saintfiet has once again blasted the local media for extending their attacks on FAM and his assistants Eddingtone Ng’onamo and Patrick Mabedi, to him.

The free-speaking Belgian emptied his chest during half-time of the TNM Super League match between Silver Strikers and Evirom at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.

He watched the game, which Silver lost 1-0, together with Ng’onamo and Mabedi.

“The journalists are writing incorrect things about me. Some are saying I have not watched local games, but this is my fourth match. It is not good for journalists to be attacking me; attack me after September 6,” he said.
