After years of silence in new compositions, Charles Sinetre has announced his return with a brand new album called Malawi Googler.

Adopted from the online search engine Google, the album is sixth on his credit and searches for the role of the Internet in Malawi’s quest for development.

In a phone interview on Tuesday, the Amadikira hit maker said he has not faded and his new release testifies that the engine is still full.

“It is all about concentrating to produce the best and the quality in the album is beyond what has been appreciated in my previous albums. I compose in line with the time we are in, and at the moment what is common among many is Internet browsing, but the question is how do we benefit with this? That is the main message in the album,” says Sinetre.

Gunya Sasenda, the title track and Ena Akuseka are some of the hits on highest demand on most local radio stations.

The Balaka based artist says he is launching the album this month end in a show organised to celebrate Alleluya Band’s 35 years and Paul Banda’s 50th birthday at Blantyre Cultural Centre (BCC) and Lilongwe Go lf Club(LGC) respectively.
