SRVL meets on kick-off

Southern Region Volleyball League (SRVL) has called on its affiliates to meet at Blantyre Youth Centre (BYC) today to discuss sponsorship and dates for the new season.

SRVL publicity secretary James Mangani told The Nation yesterday that this is an important gathering for both new and old clubs because their contributions will help to make the league stronger.

Mangani said the forum will be a crucial place to iron out their challenges considering that SRVL has been conducting games without sponsorship in the past two seasons.

“It has been tough to conduct competitions without corporate sponsorship and we need to sort out this problem once and for all,” he said.

Mangani said each club should send two representatives.
