A month after entertaining golfers with the Nchalo Lifestyle24/7 Tournament, Standard Bank golf is back in town, this time at the Lilongwe Golf Club tomorrow.
The tournament is under the auspices of Standard Bank’s New Business Online product portfolio. It will be the third major invitational tournament to be hosted by the bank after Blantyre Sports Club and Nchalo Golf Club in May and August, respectively.
Head of marketing Chimwemwe Matonga said the bank would like to take the opportunity to familiarise with both new and existing customers on improved online banking capabilities.
“We are continually improving our capacity to service customers through Internet and mobile banking. The ultimate goal is to bring convergence of off-site banking tools such as mobile phones and the internet under one big umbrella.
“So this weekend’s tournament gives us the opportunity to update our customers on the progress we’re making,” he said.
Matonga said as more customers switch to Standard Bank, the bank’s capacities are being upgraded to ensure that both new and existing customers enjoy the benefits of technology, convenience and a spacious, comfortable banking environment.
