Sulom, TNM agree new deal

TNM plc, sponsors of the TNM Super League, and Super League of Malawi (Sulom) have agreed a new deal and are set to unveil an improved package tomorrow.

This follows lengthy negotiations between the two parties.

Sulom president Colonel Gilbert Mittawa and TNM brand and communications manager Limbani Nsapato confirmed the development in separate interviews yesterday, but could not be drawn to disclose the details, saying that will be done at the unveiling ceremony scheduled for Blantyre.

Said Mittawa: “The sponsorship unveiling ceremony will include a street parade which will be followed by a press briefing and that is where all details relating to the new deal will be revealed.

The package includes K10 million subvention for each of the 16 teams and individual and team awards.
