Musician Theresa Phondo has announced the conclusion of her brand partnership with Standard Bank plc which began in 2023.
The artist’s management said in a statement the partnership was a testament to what can be possible when a financial institution believes in the potential of African talent.
“Standard Bank’s decision to align with Theresa’s brand was more than a business arrangement, it was a statement of confidence in her artistry and values,” reads the statement in part.
On her part, the artist said working with Standard Bank plc has been a highlight of her career.
“They did not just partner with me, they believed in me and that belief pushed me to show up bigger and better every time,” she said.
Phondo added that she was grateful for the experience she had with the financial institution as she steps into the next season, following the conclusion of the three-year working partnership.
On August 16 2023, Standard Bank plc announced the appointment of Theresa Phondo as its brand ambassador for the Switch and Win promotion. Under the promotion, working class people were encouraged to switch to the bank and receive their salaries using the bank.
