Thyolo Sports Club (TSC) has today organised a golf tournament at its golf course with funds from National Bank of Malawi (NBM).
Captain of the club Prem Singh told The Nation that about 50 plus golfers will battle for honours during the event.

The event comes weeks after United General Insurance (UGI) and Optichem golf tournaments were held at the golf course.
Today’s tournament will attract golfers from Country Club Limbe (CCL), Blantyre Sports Club, Mulanje Sports Club, among others.
He said the event is the best for this half year period since various golfers from the South are likely to take part.
“Golfers from the South are expected to take part in the event which tees off at 8.30am.
“We want to ensure that Thyolo Sports Club remains a must go place for entertainment activities, including golf,” he said.
Singh added that winners from the men and women categories will receive prizes for their outstanding performances.
“We have planned to hold several golf tournaments before the end of the year as one way of mingling with our clients from different companies,” he said. n
