Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) Malawi at the weekend teamed up with St. Johns of God Nursing College (SNC) to feed vulnerable children at Kwithu Community Based Organisation (CBO) in Mzuzu. However, Kwithu general secretary Jasintha Jere complained of lack of support towards the organisation. “We are well registered and we submit our reports to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare, including the council but when it comes to benefits and appreciating our efforts, no-one recognises us and we struggle to raise children,” she said.
