Lifting The Lid On Hiv And Aids

Women prefer circumcised men!

Listen to this article

If you needed further motivation to get circumcised, this is it. Women prefer circumcised men! Well, at least according to a recently published study of 30 sexually active women in Kenya aged 18-35 years old. Women in the study reported they perceived circumcised men as being more hygienic and taking longer to ejaculate. The latter being VERY, VERY important for any man’s ego! Can I say BOOYA!

Almost half of the women in the study reported having had sex with both circumcised and uncircumcised men. Although the women in the study were aware of the partial protection against HIV, they cited hygiene, cleanliness and sexual satisfaction as more important for their preference for circumcised men.

Importantly, this study found that women did not change their condom use based on a man’s circumcision status. This is reassuring as circumcision is NOT a sign that a man is HIV negative. Circumcision confers partial protection of transmission from woman to man but has no (or possibly limited) protection of HIV transmission from man to woman.

Five of the Kenyan women reported that if they met an uncircumcised man who they wanted to have a sexual relationship with, they would insist that he gets circumcised. One of the women, a sex worker, said she preferred romantic relationships with circumcised men but preferred uncircumcised clients because they climaxed quicker.

Granted this Kenyan study was very small…30 women…so what does the “Internet” say… A post in Women’s Health Magazine (so I cannot verify its credibility) says a survey of 1 000 women found 54 percent of women prefer a circumcised penis.

Another study conducted in Australia by Badger at University of Sydney found that women with circumcised partners were more likely to reach climax at the same time as their partners but women who failed to reach orgasm were three times more likely to have an uncircumcised partner. A circumcised penis was also preferred for oral sex.  The more I searched the more I found studies in Tanzania, Kenya, China, Dominican Republic – asking mothers and women their preference or comparing sexual satisfaction between circumcised and uncircumcised…all the studies (that I chose – so I am cherry picking) all resoundingly said circumcision does not decrease pleasure – some reported it increased pleasure, women prefer circumcised men!

  1. 30 women? That’s a ridiculously small sample from which to generalise, and your other studies are also loaded. “Badger” is not his real name, and he has published circumcision fetish fiction, so he is hardly unbiased. Circumcision offers no protection of HIV transmission from man to woman, or possibly INCREASED risk to women, according to a study in Uganda.

Regardless of opinion polls, the foreskin contains a ridged band of specialised nerves, offering not just “more sensitivity” but “a symphony of sensation”, more feedback and hence more control, so that a man with a whole penis enjoys not just the arrival, but the whole of the journey, which can take as long as he likes.
