Born Hilda Ulolo, the personality behind the Ekizakitile beat has been an underground artist since she turned to music in 2009.
The 20-year-old school leaver was drawn into music after recording four songs for fun at several Chirimba-based studios when she was a secondary school student.
“Tracks such as Good Bye, Lonely, Kumaufila and Kumaloto kick-started my interest in music and the response that I received made me seriously a musical career,” she told On the Arts.

“I am currently planning video shoots for Ekizakitile and Cheke Cheke so that I should at least hit all sections because other people do not like listening to the radio as they opt to watch television,” said the musician, born on Valentine’s Day in 1995.
