Chilon, CFME sign MoU on youth

Chilon Security Services has sealed an agreement with the Centre for Free Market Enterprise (CFME) to train young people in entrepreneurship skills as one way of addressing unemployment and promote innovations in the country.

Speaking last Friday, Chilon Security Services managing director, Sean Longwe, said they decided to partner with CFME after scrutinising some of the activities it is doing in assisting young people to acquire business skills.

“We appreciate what CFME is doing and we want to take part in training and sponsoring them in development activities which they have been doing for a year now,” said Longwe.

CFME programmes manager, Pilirani Banda, said there is a need for different organisations to join hands in training youths to be innovative in their respective communities.

CFME helps young people in rural areas, prisons and schools and colleges with entrepreneurial skills.
