Fatima breaks down

Fatima broke down and burst into tears uncontrollably in the middle of her diary session. This came as a surprise because the Malawian housemate has positioned herself as the tough cookie of The Chase who is always there to comfort her fellow housemates. Is she losing her iron fist character?

Fatima told Biggie that she had been disturbed by a conversation she had with Bassey when the Sierra Leonean confided in her on some very sensitive news that he assured he had never told a soul. This got Fatima thinking that as much as housemates were in The Chase to win the grand $300 000, most of them were running away from something on the outside world that they could not share with just anybody.

Realising the sensitivity of the issue, Big Brother didn’t push Fatima to disclose the details of their conversation but gave her some time to gather her thoughts and compose herself off air. Big Brother also confirmed that a professional would be made available and reminded her she can always talk to Big Brother. Fatima confirmed that she had also given Bassey the same advice but still felt bad that there was nothing she could do to help him.
