Zed Factor premieres in June with the aim of scouting and exposing Zambian talent.

“Our international guests will be Miss Sylvie Chibiliti, who is a former American Idol top 30 contestant. The second guest is Miss Sipe, who will be the international brand ambassador for Zed Factor as well as a guest judge. The former BBA Hotshots contender will represent Zed Factor, which is a brand expecting to expand across Southern Africa.

“Miss Sipe will also make appearances at charity events in Zambia, where she will represent Zed Factor. Miss Sipe was chosen due to the love for helping others within herself. The popularly known glam queen will definitely bring some glam to the show especially with the contestant’s appearances,” said Zed Factor founder Lillian Mutambo.

The entrepreneur, who also runs Mutamz Records UK and Zambia, said plans are underway to expand the initiative to other parts of southern Africa.

“Our mission as Zed Factor is to build a theatre of arts club in Zambian youths and beyond through talent. Our goal is to reach out to the less privileged youth by supporting their talent on an international level. We are not just stopping at Zambia, as a franchise we will work with other countries like Malawi, Namibia and Angola, among others to see how we can support talent,” said Mutambo.

Sipe is ecstatic about her first international call up after Big Brother Africa Season 9.

“I am so happy for this role, I can’t wait to go and do it. It marks the beginning of new chapter in my life. It is not only for me, but Malawi as well because the organisers could have chosen anybody, not even from Malawi,” she said
