Newest track By Fire By Force, by ‘Sir’ Patricks, real name Patrick Mambulu, has taken a new direction albeit sticking to his mature lyrics.
‘Sir’ Patricks has, however, diverted from his usual Afro beat to a more high-tempo powered sound while maintaining his high standards.
In an interview with The Nation, Mambulu said that the song is about faith in God.
“I am just saying no matter the circumstances, we should have faith that God is watching and He will bless and make things better for us in His own time,” said ‘Sir’ Patricks.
This is Mambulu’s fourth single which has been accompanied by a video but he feels more and more ready and understanding of the needs and expectations of his audience.
The By Fire By Force single which was produced by renowned producer and artist Stich Fray, has received positive response and is enjoying airplay on various radio and television stations.
“It is a humbling experience to get this kind of reaction. I will work hard to be the unique artist with songs that speak to the hearts of many,” he said.
The song, according to ‘Sir’ Patricks got 10 000 downloads in five days showing just how popular it is.
‘Sir’ Patricks, who is yet to release an album, said he plans to record it soon but is taking time to prepare himself for the big stage.
The other three singles he has released so far are Ndidzamtsatila, Mmene ndimamvela and Khanda mmanja. All his audio toils are complemented with music videos. n
