Spreading the gospel together: The featured artists

Seven Zomba based gospel hip-hop artists namely Thini, Blessme, Alex Marvel, L.I.M, Jay One and Four Mula have been featured in the project.

The cypher is loaded with Godly messages in which the artists are asking all Christians to receive God’s grace, follow his words and preach his words to the society.

Uzimu Vibes director Robin Pemba said the cypher will promote talents in hip-hop gospel artists.

“It is time to promote Malawian hip-hop gospel musicians after a number of cyphers from secular artists from Blantyre, Mzuzu and Lilongwe,” said Pemba.

One of the rappers, Jay One, whose real name is Jerome Mwagomba, said the cypher will empower upcoming and  existing artists to work hard on their music.

The cypher has been produced by Echo Rino of Inkosi Music in Lilongwe and its video has been filmed and directed by Frenchie, a Zomba-based videographer.

The six-minute-cypher has been uploaded on Uzimu Vibes websites, social media platforms and YouTube.
