No ticket sales on Bullets’Champs League match day

FCB Nyasa Bullets say there will be no ticket sales on the matchday of their CAF Champions League first preliminary round first leg against Zambia’s Red Arrows at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe on August 18.

The club’s chief executive officer Albert Chigoga said this during a press briefing in Blantyre yesterday.

“We have to make it clear that there will be no sale of tickets on the matchday. All soccer lovers that wish to watch the game should buy advanced tickets,” he said.

Bullets commercial manager Kevin Moyo said a covered stands’ ticket will cost K5 000 while a seat in the VIP stand is pegged at K20 000.  A corporate box will fetch K25 000.

He said about 20 000 tickets are available for pre-sale at various outlets in Lilongwe and Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre from today, but more will be printed in accordance with the demand before the eve of the match.

“The advanced tickets will be available at 15 outlets and a mobile van in Lilongwe. Kamuzu Stadium will also have the tickets in Blantyre,” said Moyo.

Malawi Broadcasting Corporation will have exclusive television rights while radio rights will cost K600 000 for national radio stations and K300 000 for community  radio stations.

Bullets have registered 30 players for the first preliminary round whose return leg is scheduled for August 24.
