Portland sends customer to Dubai

Portland Cement Malawi last week sent one of its most loyal cement distributors on a one-week, all-expenses-paid trip for two to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The distributor, Nicolas Noah owner of Nicolles General Dealers, emerged winner of the Portland Cement Kumanga customer loyalty promotion, designed to reward dedication and enhance relationships with key partners.

Speaking in an interview, Portland Cement Malawi’s head of marketing and corporate affairs, Violet Vilili, said that distributors have remained loyal to the company and have been instrumental in pushing the company’s products in large volumes.

She said: “We have been running this program for the past four years to strengthen our relationship with customers and enhance the value they gain from our services.

“To be recognized as a loyal customer, one must purchase a variety of our products, including Supaset, Duracrate, and Khoma in large volumes. Additionally, customers should adhere to our health and safety protocols and maintain a strong relationship with their own customers.”

On his part, Noah stated that the reward will motivate him to continue selling Portland Cement Malawi products and to serve his customers even better.

“I hope this trip will allow me to learn how businesses are conducted in Dubai, which will help me improve how I manage my business and serve my customers.
