MedHealth bags double awards for service excellence, customer trust

MedHealth General Manager Medson Chitsulo has said the company’s double recognition—Most Preferred Health Insurance Provider at the Consumer Choice Awards Malawi Winners’ Gala and Dinner and the Service Excellence Award from the Chartered Institute of Customer Management—reflects its commitment to quality healthcare delivery and customer satisfaction.

Chitsulo said this in an interview following the honours received at separate ceremonies held in Lilongwe on May 29, 2026.

MedHealth was named Most Preferred Health Insurance Provider at the Consumer Choice Awards Malawi Winners’ Gala and Dinner held at Pearl Convention Centre, an award that signals growing public trust in the insurer.

On the same evening, the company received the Service Excellence Award from the Chartered Institute of Customer Management at a separate gala held at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC).

Chitsulo said the recognition will motivate the company to further improve service delivery and expand access to affordable healthcare across the country.

He said MedHealth remains committed to supporting efforts to ensure more Malawians access reliable health insurance, stressing that a healthy population is key to national development.

“A healthy nation is fundamental to sustainable development. We will continue strengthening our services and ensuring more people benefit from innovative health insurance solutions,” he said.
