The Airtel Money Netball District tournament has now been concluded in all the districts.

Thirty-two teams emerged winners and they will proceed to the regional phase along with their respective runners-up.

The champions received K200 000 (US$477) while runners-up got K100 000 (US$236). The losing semi-finalists received K50 000 (US$199) each.

Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) general secretary Carol Bapu said they were happy with the competition at district level.

“We believe we achieved our goal of developing the game from the districts. A lot of promising talent was identified and we plan to groom them through the structures we have in place.
