Bullets promote4 to senior side
FCB Nyasa Bullets have promoted four players from their Reserves side to the senior team following their impressive performance 2025 Southern Region Football Association ThumbsUp League campaign.
Interim head coach Gilbert Chirwa has drafted Kondwani Tebulo, Prince Chiumia, Francis Malikebu and Misheck Billiat into the first team squad.

A statement from Bullets said the decision comes after the reserves finished third in the league, underlining the club’s strong development pathway.
Seventeen-year-old Tebulo, a left-footed wing-back and Malawi Under-20 international, was one of the standout performers.
He registered 10 goals and six assists in 23 appearances, finishing as the Reserves’ second-highest scorer behind Movic Banda, who scored 11 goals.
Defender Chiumia, 21, also left-footed, featured in 24 matches, contributing three goals and four assists.
He was praised for his leadership, composure and defensive stability througahout the campaign.
Midfielder Malikebu, 19, impressed despite limited game time in just 12 appearances, scoring five goals.
On the other hand, 18-year-old attacker Billiat, another Malawi Under-20 international, recorded five goals and seven assists in 22 matches.
The four players are expected to debut in Bullets’ Castel Challenge Cup quarter-final fixture against Mighty Tigers, according to the statement.
The statement reads in part: “With the Castel Challenge Cup quarter-finals against Mighty Tigers approaching, the integration of these players strengthens squad depth and adds energy to the senior side. The club remains committed to providing opportunities for emerging talent while maintaining a competitive and balanced first team.”
