All but one good record has tumbled in the TNM Super League 2014 edition with Big Bullets remaining as the only unbeaten side after week six of action.

Ian Chinyama scored in Big Bullets’ surprise 1-1 draw with Kalulu Stadium hosts Chikwawa United on Sunday when Ranken Mwale claimed the leveller to earn the rookies their first point in eight games played so far.

Bullets have slipped to third position on 14 points from six games, overtaken on second place by Deus Nkutu-inspired Moyale Barracks who scored on Saturday and Sunday to beat Blantyre United (2-0) and Azam Tigers (1-0) respectively.

The Malawi Defence Force teams’ impressive showing continued as Mafco whacked Blue Eagles 4-1. However, Eagles have 16 points and lead Moyale on superior goal aggregate.

Mafco captain Maurice Chiumia and Kalista Kalinda netted the other goals, rendering useless Eagles’ sole strike by Charles Ngosi.

Kalinda also earned Mafco the win at Civo Stadium as the Salima side jumped to fifth on 13 points from seven games.
