Nyasa Big Bullets FC has unveiled journalist Archibald Kasakura as the club’s interim supporters committee general secretary.

The former Nation Publications Limited news analyst has replaced Mabvuto Chibambo, who recently resigned on personal grounds.

Kasakura (L): I expect to add value

Bullets director of supporters Stone Mwamadi, who was accompanied by the club’s vice-president Fleetwood Haiya and chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda, said they were confident Kasakura will help to bring positive change to the club.

“Kasakura is a staunch Bullets supporter and we welcome him to this great club. We are hoping to benefit a lot from his ideas,” he said.

“His skills, competencies and networks are going to be pivotal in enhancing the role of supporters in the promotion of the Bullets brand.”

Mwamadi also thanked Chibambo for his contributions to the club and wished him the best for the future.

On his part, Kasakura said it was a great honour to serve a club that has always been at his heart since his childhood days.

“I believe that with my expertise, experience and passion, I will add value to the serious commercialisation drive that the club has embarked on by, among other things, ensuring all the supporters structures are alive and kicking,” he said.
