However, the night was still graced with performances from musicians Tay Grin and Piksy which excited patrons.

The events kicked off with the arrival of Cha Cha and Mwanza setting the room with hope for an evening filled with fun. As the clock struck past midnight, Piksy grabbed the microphone and it was time for patrons to sing and dance.

On the mic, Piksy performed some of his hit songs including the old jams such as Uncle Short One, Wa CV and Itsanana as music fans jived to the tunes and sang along.

When he put the microphone down, the Itsanana hit maker left patrons yearning for more as he gave the spotlight to the Nyau King, Tay Grin.

With the spotlight on Tay Grin, patrons were taken by sounds of local drums as blended in his music, but also as his signature rhythm.

Performing hits such as Chipapapa, Lubwa and So Mone, the Nyau King had the audience on its feet.

Amid the thrill, Cha Cha delighted patrons by treating them to rounds of drinks and booze, adding an extra excitement to the already buzzing atmosphere.

Patrons mingled with the boss ladies and exchanged conversations while pictures were captured as patrons cherished the memories of Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Adding to the night were the appearances by other local artists such as Hyphen, Pop Young and Nya Uyu of Vilekeke comedy even though they did not perform.

As the performances drew to a close, patrons came together to sing the happy birthday song to Epic Exclusive manager Yollamu Kawanga.

One patron, Victor Mwale expressed excitement, saying that the night life has just gotten better for entertainment lovers in the city.

“This is the kind of entertainment we want to see and experience in the city. This is top class and we should have more of this,” he said.
