Chilemba faces Ghanaian boxer

Malawian boxer Isaac ‘Golden Boy’ Chilemba returns to the ring against Ghanaian Michael ‘the Amazing’ Gbenga in an eight-rounder on November 16, 2013.

The 26-year-old Chilemba and the 34-year-old Ghanaian slug it out in a light heavyweight non-title fight scheduled for Verona, New York, US, Chilemba confirmed yesterday.

“I am looking forward to it. This will be my first fight under new promoter [Main Event Promotions]. They offer better deals than Dibella Entertainment,” Chilemba said through e-mail.

Chilemba, 85 kilogrammes, relocates for training to America this week seeking to bounce back after losing on unanimous points’ decision in June to Anthony Bellew in a rematch.
