CTS Courier Managing Director Jacqueline Bokosi has urged girls across Malawi to stay focused and not be discouraged by those who say they can’t succeed.
Bokosi shared how she overcame doubt and negativity to lead one of the country’s top courier companies.
“As a girl, I was told I couldn’t make it, but I refused to let those voices stop me. Stay focused, believe in yourself, and let your success do the talking,” she said.
Bokosi advised girls to set clear goals, work hard, and surround themselves with positive people.
“Challenges will come. You’ll feel like giving up. But push through that’s how you grow,” She added.
Mphatso Kanyama from Blantyre said Bokosi’s words were both powerful and relatable.
“Sometimes, as girls, we feel like our dreams are too big or unrealistic — like we’re aiming too high just because of where we come from or what people expect of us,” she said.
